Is your pillow making you warm? Do you often wake up with a sweaty neck and face? If so, the Nectar Graphite pillow may be a good option for you. Thanks to its graphite infusions, this cooling pillow works to provide a comfortable sleeping surface for hot sleepers struggling to get a good night’s rest.
Pillows can help you sleep better, but sleeping on one that doesn’t fit your needs and preferences won’t do you any favors. Your pillow should fit your preferred sleeping position, but it should also match other preferences and needs as well. For example, you should consider its size, features, ease of maintenance, durability, and other similar factors.
In this review, we’ll talk about why the Nectar Graphite pillow may be a good choice for you. We’ll discuss its features and specifications, such as size, firmness, materials, and more.

- Hot sleepers – The Nectar Graphite feels cool to the touch, so it’s a good choice for people who sleep hot.

Sleep Advisor’s Testing Methodology
At Sleep Advisor, we test pillows in different positions to evaluate who they’re best for. We also evaluated this pillow for qualities including its firmness, feel, loft, durability, off-gassing, support, and overall comfort.
What is the Nectar Graphite Pillow Made of?
Cover
The Nectar Graphite pillow has a Cool Tech Fabric, which is 64-percent polyester and 36-percent polyethylene blend. The cover contains graphite that helps with temperature regulation. There’s also a gusset made from the same Cool Tech Fabric. The blend is cooling and antimicrobial, helping maintain a comfortable temperature while drawing the heat away from you. Also, the cover is removable and machine-washable.
Core
This pillow has a core with shredded memory foam and microfiber polyester. All of this is encased in a microfiber shell that’s well-made and durable. Although the filling is shredded, the pillow isn’t adjustable, which may be a drawback for some people.
Nectar Graphite Pillow Firmness & Feel
Firmness
The Nectar Graphite pillow has a medium firmness, so it combines pressure relief with support. As you lie on it, you should feel the memory foam pieces contour your head and face, slowly responding to your movements. However, you should still feel well-supported as the pillow isn’t soft enough to let you sink too deeply.
Feel
The first thing that stands out is the cool-to-the-touch cover, as the cooling sensation is the first thing you’ll feel as you lie on the pillow. The memory foam bits have a slow response, so you should feel the pillow contouring the shapes of your head. There’s just enough sinkage to prevent pressure buildup while still keeping the head and neck aligned with the rest of your spine.
Loft
The loft is the height of your pillow, and this can be low, medium, or high. Low is best for stomach sleepers, while high is best for side sleepers. The medium should be the most versatile one and a good fit for side and back sleepers.
The Nectar Graphite pillow is 5 inches tall, so it has a medium loft. As such, this pillow works best for side and back sleepers.
Weight (Density of the Pillow)
Dense materials make for a firmer pillow, whereas low-density is typically tied to a soft pillow. The Nectar Graphite pillow feels like it has a medium density. It doesn’t feel too heavy or light, hence the medium firmness as well.
Sleeping on the Nectar Graphite Pillow
Sleeping on the Nectar Graphite pillow helped us understand who it would benefit the most from its firmness, feel, and loft. What we like the most is the combination of pressure relief and support, helping to provide proper spine alignment when sleeping on the back and side. One thing we didn’t like is how this bed feels when stomach sleeping, which is likely due to its taller profile.
Side Sleepers
Many side sleepers should find this memory foam pillow comfortable. The foam has a slow response and does a good job of cushioning both the head and neck to prevent pressure buildup without propping the head too much.
Back Sleepers
This may be the best position to sleep in when using the Nectar Graphite pillow. The medium loft and firmness support the head nicely so that it doesn’t sink too deeply or prop up too much, which could cause neck pain.
Stomach Sleepers
This pillow may not be the best for stomach sleepers as it’s likely too tall for this position. This Nectar has a medium firmness and is likely to keep your head and neck too upright when you sleep on the stomach.

Support
5/5
This Nectar has a core filled with memory foam and microfiber polyester that offer good support. The loft and firmness help keep your head and neck aligned with the rest of the body, meaning that you’re unlikely to experience too much sinkage.
Durability
4/5
This pillow feels well-made with its durable stitching and quality materials. Memory foam is a long-lasting material, so you can be sure this memory foam pillow will last several years. On top of that, the cover feels equally well-made, meaning that it shouldn’t show any signs of wear and tear as quickly.
Comfort
4/5
The Nectar pillow feels comfortable for back and side sleeping, but it won’t be ideal for stomach sleeping as it’ll be too high in this posture. The memory foam fill is slow-responding and allows just enough sinkage to cushion the pressure points, while the loft and firmness help with spine alignment.

4/5
You may notice some off-gassing odors when you remove the pillow from its packaging. This is common for most memory foam products but should be gone in a day or two.
