What Is the Malouf Pillow Made Of?
Cover
The cover is made out of 25 percent rayon from bamboo and 75 percent polyester, both of which help provide a smooth, soft surface. Another perk? This cover is removable, and you could wash it in the washing machine and tumble dry it afterward.
Core
As the name suggests, this pillow is made entirely out of latex. The filling is 100 percent natural Talalay latex. There are some holes made along the latex to help create a comfortable cradling effect for your head and neck. Larger holes are located in the inner area, while smaller holes are in the outer area. While latex is already temperature-neutral, these holes provide even more airflow and cooling capabilities.
How Does the Malouf Pillow Feel?
This is a moldable pillow; you can easily change its shape, and it’s very responsive. This allows different types of sleepers to use it comfortably. Plus, the loft and firmness customizations mean it will vary based on which one you order.

Other Considerations
Trial & Warranty
The Malouf pillow is backed by a five-year warranty. If it’s deemed defective within this period, Malouf will replace, repair, or even refund your purchase throughout this period. However, normal tear and wear are not covered. Unfortunately, we could not locate a trial deal for this pillow.
Off-Gassing
There is also a slight off-gassing smell that you should be prepared for, especially if you’re sensitive to smells. This new-product smell is normal for a lot of foam products, and since it’s natural latex, it shouldn’t be as bad as memory. Give the product a day or two to air out in a ventilated room, and it should be ready for us.
