- Memory foam lovers – This bed has high-quality memory foam that contours your shape and should give you a gently cradled feeling without letting you sink too deep to where you feel stuck.

Who We Don’t Recommend the Loom & Leaf For:
- People who like the feel of an innerspring bed – For an all-foam bed, it should feel substantial, and the smart design should help you stay cool and comfortable. However, it offers minimal bounce, and its core has a different feel from the coil system you will find on a Saatva innerspring bed.
- Shoppers who want their beds shipped in a box – While this online brand doesn’t deliver their beds in a box, they do offer a very appealing free white glove delivery service with your purchase. A heavier person whose weight can more easily push through softer comfort and support layers may experience a bed as softer than a lightweight person. The firmness of a mattress is indicative of how soft or firm a bed feels when you are lying on it. Firmness differs from support in that the supportiveness of a mattress deals specifically with how well a given mattress is able to keep your spine neutral.
The relaxed firmness coupled with the cozy comfort of the memory foam makes this mattress a great choice for various sizes and sleep positions.
How Does It Feel?
With the Loom & Leaf, you’ll first notice the soft organic cotton cover. Though you would expect to sink a lot into memory materials, the quilted cover should help prevent you from sinking too far in. It should contour around your body, as memory materials do, and provide a soft yet supportive feel.

Saatva states that the Loom & Leaf is best suited for people who are 300 pounds or under.
Side Sleepers
- Lightweight Sleepers – Lighter people may not get to enjoy all of the attributes of this bed because they are not heavy enough to come into contact with all the layers. This may make the mattress seem too firm for them.
- Average-Weight Sleepers – If you’re in the middle of the weight spectrum and gravitate toward your side when sleeping, the Loom & Leaf should cradle you in comfort while providing pressure relief on your shoulders and hips.
- Heavyweight Sleepers – Although some heavyweight side sleepers may feel that they are sinking too far down in the bed to get comfortable, for most, this shouldn’t be an issue. Most heavyweight sleepers should enjoy a great combination of softness and support.
Back Sleepers
- Lightweight Sleepers – If you tend to sleep on your back and are on the lighter side, there is a good chance that you will find this bed too firm. Smaller sleepers won’t be able to feel all the luxurious layers because they don’t weigh enough to activate them.
- Average-Weight Sleepers – The Loom & Leaf is an excellent choice for average-weight sleepers. They should experience excellent spinal support, and some may even find that it helps with their snoring.
- Heavyweight Sleepers – This mattress is durable and provides a lot of support from the base to the top. This is a great combination for heavier people who snooze on their backs.

The Loom & Leaf has a hefty foam base plus an additional poly foam transitional layer that not only helps the bed remain durable but also distributes your weight evenly and maintains spine alignment. Although there is not a ton of sinkage on the surface, the memory foam contours to your body, so the spaces between your curves and the bed should be filled.
The density and firmness should work well for heavier folks as well, especially on the Firm model.

Foam beds can certainly run hot. Thankfully, Loom & Leaf addressed the need for cooling elements head-on.
The cover is made from breathable organic cotton. This allows air to move freely and not be trapped under your body. Additionally, they use a cooling gel-infused memory foam that targets areas of the body that tend to heat up easily.

This bed is packed with dense memory foam, so don’t expect too much bounce from it. However, there’s enough responsiveness to make it easier for you to switch positions. Although you’re unlikely to feel stuck, there’s not a lot of bounce that sexually active couples might appreciate.
Edge Support

Upon testing the Loom & Leaf mattress, we saw it has excellent edge support considering it doesn’t have any coils. Hybrid mattresses usually have better edge support than all-foam models, but this Saatva bed was a nice surprise. Lying and sitting at the edge of the bed felt secure enough, so you should be able to use the entire surface of the Loom & Leaf mattress.
Performance for Couples
